Butter Chicken Masala & Butter Naan – Short Recipe

🫓 Butter Naan Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter
  • ¼ cup warm milk (as needed)
  • Butter for brushing

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt and oil, mix well, and gradually add warm milk to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead for 5 minutes, cover, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out small portions into oval shapes.
  5. Heat a pan, cook each naan until bubbles appear, then flip and cook until golden.
  6. Brush with butter and serve warm!

🍛 Butter Chicken Masala Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 250g boneless chicken (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil

For the Gravy:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ¼ cup cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Marinate Chicken: Mix chicken with yogurt, spices, and salt. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a pan, cook marinated chicken until golden, then set aside.
  3. Prepare Gravy: In the same pan, melt butter, sauté onions until golden, then add ginger-garlic paste.
  4. Add tomato puree, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until thick.
  5. Add cooked chicken and cream. Simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with butter naan!
