Aloo chop (Potato Patties)

Instructions
For Filling
  1. Boil the potatoes until they are soft and cooked. Drain, peel and let them cool down. Grate the potatoes with a grater.
  2. Add all the spices as well as the cheese. Mix everything together till it is well combined.
  3. Shape the potatoes to your preferred shape and size.
Coating
  1. Place the potato roll in flour, egg then in the bread crumbs. Follow this sequence with the other potato rolls.
Cooking
  1. Deep fry them in hot oil until they are golden brown.
  2. Place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil before serving. Serve with ketchup or mayonnaise.

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp yak cheese
For Coating
  • 1 egg
  •  breadcrumbs
  •  oil for deep frying
