Aloo chop (Potato Patties)
Instructions
For Filling
Boil the potatoes until they are soft and cooked. Drain, peel and let them cool down. Grate the potatoes with a grater.
Add all the spices as well as the cheese. Mix everything together till it is well combined.
Shape the potatoes to your preferred shape and size.
Coating
Place the potato roll in flour, egg then in the bread crumbs. Follow this sequence with the other potato rolls.
Cooking
Deep fry them in hot oil until they are golden brown.
Place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil before serving. Serve with ketchup or mayonnaise.
